ADA and Jarvis AI Year medal

I noticed something unusual in both ADA and Jarvis AI medal.
If we look at the yearly medal, the first yearly medal they have is Luminary or year four medal. They have bronze year four medal which was awarded to level 3-level 8 agent by November 30, 2016. Strangely, they do not have year 2 - innovator medal and year 3 - Vanguard medal even though they also have founder medal which was awarded to agents who reached level 5 or above by December 14, 2013.
It means, normally, they should have year 2 - innovator medal and year 3 - Vanguard medal since the lowest requirement of year 2 and year 3 medal was level 3. In which, they should automatically have it if they already reached at least level 5 at December 14, 2013.
However this unusual condition is actually not impossible.
This can be explained by two perceptive :
1. Game Perceptive:
How could an agent who reached level 5+ at 2013 missed year 2 and year 3 medals?
This situation can happen if they change faction after obtaining founder medal. By changing faction, their AP will reset to 0 AP and their level will fall to level 1. The medals are not reset after changing faction.
If they did not level up after that to level 3 by the end of year 2 and year 3, they will not be awarded the year 2 and year 3 medal.
There is also probability where they level up and change faction repeatedly those their level are below level 3 by the end of year 2 and year 3.
At year 4, they level up, and reach at least level 3 and obtain bronze luminary / year 4 medal.
2. Lore / Investigation Perceptive.
Both ADA and Roland Jarvis has prominent role in the beginning of ingression. It is reasonable if they reached level 5+ as an agent by December 14, 2013 those granting them founder medal.
There are 2 probability why they don't have year 2 and year 3 medal:
1) Level Reset after year 1.
Due to the dynamic situation, filled with faction conflicts, their level fell below level 3 during year 2 and year 3. Since ADA was an AI which was different from human agents , and Roland Jarvis was shot and his intelligence merged with portal network, there was many situations which made them change their level.
It is also possible that they changed faction repeatedly to enable them to dive and disguise freely in portal network.
They regain level 3+ at the end of year 4, those granting them luminary bronze medal.
When the 2017 13 Magnus Reawakens Anomaly, the profile agents of ADA and Jarvis manifested fully after the introduction of ADA Refactor and Jarvis Virus. Since that time, their level and AP are constant at level 8 and 1,200,000 AP.
It is also explaining why they don't have year 8 medal-resonance. Unlike previous year medals, Beside minimum level requirement, there is also minimum added AP during year 8 to obtain year 8 medal. ADA and Jarvis has 0 AP increased during year 8, so, they did not obtain Resonance medal.
2) Intelligence / Data Absorption
It is simply the agent profile of ADA and Jarvis AI developed in year 4 . Thus, they are granted year 4 medals/iluminary medal. However ADA agent profile absorbed the large amount of data owned by ADA and Jarvis AI absorbed the intelligence of Roland Jarvis . This data and intelligence absorption included their spirit/consciousnes as the founder. This is how they obtain founder medal even though they were only developed in year 4.
With many parallel universe of ingress, many possibility may happens. Both ADA and Jarvis AI may have their own unique story in each of universe.

I can see that they do not have a last anniversary medal (year 8- Resonance) and if likewise the previous ones that you mention were not awarded to their profiles for "not having made" +0 Ap in the corresponding time. ... it may be another option, and I think it may be the reason that they are not in their medal tables
PS: I do not rule out your theories, they are exciting and somewhat confusing, normal in Ingress 😁
The entire ADA and JARVIS account is crafted. The AP was not gained, it was set. The face badges were added by choice of the Niantic team. The only badge that the accounts validly gained was Guardian because they were activated by players.
Don't think too hard about it. 😁
ADA and Jarvis lack Resonance medals because Niantic added "earned more than 0 AP since the Year 7 medal was distributed" as a medal requirement, and those two accounts have never actually completed an AP-earning action. (Note they have no stats unrelated to holding portals, which they only acquired by human agents using flip cards.)
Those were both 0-AP accounts until Niantic added the AP in Year 4 (and all those character medals, for some reason), which is why they don't have the Year 2 and 3 medals. Until then, all they had was the Founder and Guardian medals.

This is it. It's an account administered by Officials. No wonder they are not restricted by rules applied to players. That's how they got the founder but not the 2nd and 3rd year.
Actually, there was a background story why I start this discussion. Few weeks ago, an agent in my area changed faction in my area. This agent is a veteran with previous level was 9, not recursed yet.
Off course after changing faction, the AP returned to 0 and level reset to level 1.
This is where I think that ,without overridding security, actually those kind of profiles (ADA and Jarvis) are not impossible.
And yes, crafted, confusing, and exciting..
This is great information. They have 0 AP for few years therefore no year 2 and year 3 medals. But somehow since they are administered by officials, they have the founder medals.
I think OP was more doing a thought experiment than trying to really figure out why the accounts are looking this way.

My guess ia that they have Black iluminator because that were the account used before to restore portals taked down by spoofers.
They might have founder intentionally, by setting it to lv16 just to earn it, or was just maxed out since the beginning, later set to lv16 for some reason, and ultimately set to lv8 to stop questioning and confusion about how a lv1 player have deployed lv8 resonators.

Maybe it was meant to be black guardian.
They both have not earned year 8 Resonance medal, may because they have not earned any AP after year 7 anniversary.
So they are somewhat obeying game laws……
That's indeed the communicated new rule, you have to have earned at least 1ap (during that year) to earn the badge. Many of the oldschool local players missed the last yearbadge (open u some old portals, click the agent name on the photo and see 🙂 )
