I have them both. I'm not so sure Platinum is such an acheivement that it needs anything special. A few years back, when the game had only been around for a couple years, then it would have been special.

Yeah, back in the day it was more of a challenge to achieve, but the community has continued... Onyx has been created since, but the platinum community has been good for some and a nice, global xfac experience for some!

Appreciate! Always appreciate people who explore. While faction competition is exciting and cool, I like it better to play Ingress as a PvE rather than a PvP game.

Have you reached onyx in either one of those? Yes, I'm the past it was a bigger deal, but there are also a ton of rural players to whom it is still a huge deal and another way to connect with like minded people in the community in a healthy xfac setting! ??
It does sound good. I'm platinum in both badges, but still working towards onyx. The community is no doubt a way to spur us on to further exploration! Count me in please.
