The Color of Nemesis

If you ever noticed the color of Nemesis, you would have same question as I did. While Avenir, Aurora and Myriad are magenta colored, the introduction of Lucida, Optima, Didact and Umbra make it more like a rainbow.

Why are they colored differently?

Because those artists of NIA(ntic) are muddleheaded and never know what they are doing? Definitely NOT!

So, let me talk about some aspects that may determine the color of Nemesis. While my team of Agents are still working on the research (Yes, we do), unfortunately at this stage I have no way to test those hypotheses.

1. Radiation

One possibility is that the color comes directly from the Nemesis themselves, in another word, the varied color is a property of Nemesis.

Similar cases happen in our universe. For example, Black-body radiation is the thermal electromagnetic radiation within or surrounding a body in thermodynamic equilibrium with its environment, emitted by a black body. It has a specific spectrum of wavelengths, inversely related to intensity that depend only on the body's temperature.

Note that we cannot use ordinary scientific knowledge to explain the abnormal phenomena of Nemesis. Therefore it might not be tempreature. Any other characteristics? We will see.

2. Velocity

Another possibility is that the color difference comes from the motion of Nemesis, given that they have identical "color". Changes in frequency (and wavelength) of light, may be caused by the relative motion of the source and the observer (as in the classical Doppler effect), when taking into account the effects described by the special theory of relativity.

For example, assuming that Nemesis is in our universe, and their original color is Green (just a guess), then Lucida is moving far from us, and Umbra, Avenir, Aurora and Myriad are moving close to us. We are even able to calculate their relative velocity. Here is a picture showing the Redshift.

Of course, Nemesis may not be in our universe. It might be the case that they are on a higher dimension and we simply "see" their projection on the 3-D universe that we live in. Is the XM similar to electromagnetic wave and enjoy some properties such as Wave-particle duality? We are not so sure yet.

3. Spin

Derived from the previous discussion, the color not only show whether they are moving towards us or not, but also show whether they are spinning. If a Nemesis is spinning, the astronomical east side will be more "red" and west side be more blue.

Here is figure showing the Rotation axis and rotation direction of 7 Nemesis (including the prediction of Lucida and Optima). It is quite amazing to know they are likely to spin!

    intel of tessera A01:

    -------

    Day 2 - Aurora

Exogenous radiance refracted into a spectrum of light, bathing the world in a blanket of color.

    -------

Can the Nemesis also be influenced by the Exogenus spectrum and show diffent colors? Just another guess.

If you look at the Yugo Nagassa and OLW livestream this is sort of answered. They explain that there are seven “core” members of Nemesis and they each have adopted one of the seven primary colors of the light spectrum (ROYGBIV) and explain some others things too. Might not answer all your questions but might help some!

I was scared of 7 primary colors( since we have only 3 primary colors R,G,B in this world )and if there is turely 7 primary colors I can surely think tessera E13 as a color wheel; So I just reviewed the video. But seems they are just 7 colors of solar spectum, not primary colors.

Makes me want to revisit the colors and hues that are used for resonator levels in the game.
