Should Discoverers Edit Their Comments?

In many tessera posts, if a truthseeker become the first 6 comments and have already been a Discoverer, they usually edit their comment and give following truthseekers the chance to be a Discoverer.
At past I thought it as a kindheart manner to allow more agents to participate, but I somehow seen someone to be the First Discoverer in three tesserae and showed off in some posts and player community(not this forum). After that I start to think: Should Discoverers edit their comments just to let others to be Discoverers? The risk can be to lost 1 POINT that is so important that someone can start a war in the community for it.

By now my idea is NO, they should not edit. Fair game, fair results.
What do you think?
well if agents didnt try cheat by posting random coments than editing after tessera was released there would be no abily to skipout by editing posts, its personal choice of discover it predict or not...
This has already been addressed. ANY edited posts are disqualified.
Yes I know, but what I see is someone edited their posts in suppose just to be ignored and let others be Discorverers.
Seems you missed the point of the post...
