Wayfarer Guidelines Questions
Used to be the AMAs were a good place to ask this type of question but it's been quite some time since we've had one of those... So I'll try posting it here.
The Pokemon community here keeps submitting the gravesite of a local Pokemon player who was apparently a big part of the Pokemon Go community in my area.
I've never heard of him, but I don't play Pokemon.
I know the criteria for a gravestone is only if it's a historic and significant figure and I'm inclined to keep denying it, but they keep submitting it and I'm starting to kinda wonder if I'm being overly strict on my interpretation of a person of historic significance.
Now that I write this all out, I think I'm totally right to keep denying it, especially since there was all that dust up in the early days of Pokemon about large groups of players invading cemeteries...

Cemeteries, Burial Grounds, and Gravestones
Avoid nominations whose real-world locations appear to be cemeteries, burial grounds, or gravestones. Gravestones may be accepted, but only if the gravestone is publicly accessible and it belongs to a historical figure or significant community figure.
Eligible:
This gravestone belongs to a prominent cultural and historical figure, is publicly accessible, and is a popular tourist destination.

if it’s on private property than it’s obviously invalid. Also I don’t think that there should be a portal there if the person isn’t of historical significance. (I had no idea that guideline existed until now)
It's not on private property. It's a city cemetery.
