I'd be fine with "all of the above" or "the same channels used the previous X times."
Out of N options, whatever they might be, I am willing pick the one that works best for me. I just don't want to have to pay attention to all N because someone at Niantic chooses between them randomly.

The question is would a return of the past format be a fix all solution? I think when they did Kadoma it was like a bridge of providing a story recap without Susanna. (trying to not make it worse here with the reasons why she quit) There's also the videos of the NIA story done by the two executives that brought another summary of the story.
Perhaps something could be done as a story recap of Nemesis in like maybe 10 parts. I don't know in what direction Brian is proceeding with the story but these recaps do provide streamlined info regardless of how much you're into the lore. It's just it's a good opportunity for getting to a fresh starting point.
I simply want an a North American Anomaly or marathon style play which rewards over the course of days instead of a few hours of play for the tenth anniversary.
I think we're back to the "old way" of doing things. Just wait around for random news drops and hope you have enough time to scramble and coordinate. To me, it reads like no one knows what they're doing and as usual, the community being ignored rather than just popping in and saying, yo, we're putting out some fires, catch you in a couple of weeks/months....

I recently had a creepy nightmare and it contained a roadmap for the second quarter.
The following was promised in the second quarter:
- Ingress will stay afloat.
- No new gameplay changes are expected.
- Company communication with the players will not improve.
- Several old bugs will be fixed and, as usual, a few new ones will be added.
- There will be several events at which there will again be old activities (hacking portals, glyphing, and all that) and the distribution of medals, but nothing fundamentally new will happen.
- There will be no radical changes in the plot.
- Factions will not have new, clear goals for which they will have to fight.
- We will increasingly be forced to scan portals without providing anything in return.

Typical Niantic: announce something (quarterly roadmaps), do it once or twice, forget about it, and stay silent about what's happening and when should we expect the next one.
It’s very rare for this team to admit they goofed or missed something. If we do get any sort of update again, there will probably be some bad joke or semi-funny meme in regards to ghosting us for the past 6 months. In true form, it will get posted on their new blog or in some random telegram Q&A no one knew about beforehand.
Im not surprised to see more of the usual from Niantic. From a game that seemed vibrant with a story, community, events and other things keeping people engaged to mostly silence and seemingly very little effort put towards anything besides scanning and recreating a messaging system from the ground up. Plz rate us 5* and plz do 500 scans this week, kthxbye

We have three month summaries that provide a minimum of events to expect. The anomaly related info is always later except the date. It's been like this since at least 2022.

Over half of Q2 already passed and we don't have a roadmap for it...
I've said that for a number of years.
Pick a single primary contact method and stick to it.
Scattering messages across Twitter, TG, forums, web sites, scanner, email is just confusing, inefficient and amateurish.

Alternatively: Put the same message out on all platforms at the same time. That way people can pick their method and know they won't miss stuff.
