Ingress Year Seven: Resurgence

Starting on our anniversary date, the portal network will experience a temporary 2X AP surge from Fri, Nov 15 18:00 UTC (10AM PT) to Fri, Nov 22 18:00 UTC (10AM PT). As announced by Hank Johnson on his live stream this morning, agents Level 7 and higher will be able to deploy three L7 resonators on friendly portals. Additionally, the in-game Store will feature the following free, daily dead drops that can each be redeemed for 24 hours during this window:
- DAY-1: Beacon - Toast! x3
- DAY-2: Nano Pack (Resonator)
- DAY-3: Nano Pack (XMP)
- DAY-4: Lawson Power Cube x3
- DAY-5: ITO EN Transmuter (+), ITO EN Transmuter (-), SoftBank Ultra Link
- DAY-6: VR Heat Sink, VR Multi-hack
- DAY-7: Portal Fracker.
To redeem a daily dead drop, visit the Store starting Fri, Nov 15 18:00 UTC and select the featured 0 CMU item. (Please note Ingress accounts must be at least 11-days-old to redeem all daily dead drops.)

Previous years anniversaries we got 15 days of double AP, last year 10 days, this year ONLY SEVEN days, even in this niantic is nerfing ingress...

What do the nano packs at day 2 and 3 contain?
I agree, 3 lvl7 doesn't help upgrade the portal any higher with 1 or 2 players. Lvl8 yes, but not lvl7 without r8s present. If two have 1 r8, then 1 person less required forms P7

At the risk of pointing out the obvious, we’ve all been deploying RESonators this whole time…
This is just sub par. Most games try to do bigger and better with special events such as this. But Niantic....let's do the exact opposite. Good call. 👍
From 2 weeks, to 10 days, to 7 days of event.
From double deploy, to double 8s and 7s, to only triple 7s.
These anniversaries are getting poorer and poorer.
This now means I link once, and bam, event is over. I don't have 100 Jarvis to play with myself, and enemy is non existent because they already quit.
Where can I get ahh, some of those ENLonators?

Isn't the 2xAP period shorter than what it was before ? I think it lasted 2 weeks, at least.
