Gameplay Feedback: stop autoselection to common MOD when having too few XM.
Wanted to put a SBUL, but had too few XM. it autoselected a common item as mod. (i know me doing my stuff sometimes doing too fast but still)
Maybe instead of autoselecting an item that requires less XM, it should maybe show a warning message ? like u have, if u wanna sho0t X8s but have to few XM for that (then it doesnt autoselect lower XMPs) .

Agreed! Stop with the auto jumps when low or out of xm!!!
Agreed.
The simplest solution is to simply grey the button out, and say "Out of XM" like it does when you're completely out of XM, or like when you scroll back to the item you want. Just don't make it jump.
It's worth noting that there are no real consequences to "accidentally" using an XMP or resonator of the unintended level. In the case of the latter, the "extra" power cube usage to keep the portal at full health is easily dealt with; in the case of the former, if you're actually trying to smash a portal, any XMP is better than no XMP.
Deploying the "wrong" mod, however, is not something that is easily undone.
Depends if you're short on resonators and suddenly you're even shorter.
If you're starting short on resonators, then either you're not mindlessly mashing the deploy button (you're paying attention to the carousel) or else you're planning on hacking the portal you're at (you won't be short on resonators for much longer).
In the case that you accidentally deploy a low-level resonator, you suddenly "remember" that you were planning on hacking the portal.
Yes, this has to stop.
Also, see below for video evidence that Ingress Prime changes my mod selection after I come back from using a cube to supply the XM needed to deploy the mod (note that touches are shown in the video as grey blobs and I did not touch the screen when the mod changed from rare HS to common HS; I then manually changed it back to rare HS). Not cool!
I won't even get into the "XMP carousel goes up, instead of down, when you run out of a given level" because that's more of an arbitrary choice than anything else.
I'm fine with that, but what it shouldn't do* is move from XMP to Ultra Strikes if you run out of top-level XMPs but still have lower-level ones. Also, if you run out of mid-level XMPs then it will move up while you're firing but if you cancel and then start firing again it will start from the bottom level XMP, which is inconsistent.
* I don't know if it still actually does this because the situation occurs only very rarely.
