Resistance takes victory of Resonate the World Weekend Event! With 886,548 Resonators deployed, the Resistance unlocked the JARVIS Program. The Enlightened was not far too behind, with 833,388 Resonators deployed. Great work, Agents!
Agents, prepare for a global competition coming this weekend. From Friday, March 12th 17:00 UTC to Monday, March 15th 17:00 UTC, the Faction that deploys the higher number of Resonators during this event will unlock a Kinetic Capsule Program to craft a virus Mod from Friday, March 19th 17:00 UTC to Tuesday, March 29th 17:00 UTC.
- Victory by the Enlightened will unlock the ADA Program, and victory by the Resistance will unlock the Jarvis Program.
- Both Factions will be able to use the unlocked Program.
- Upgrading existing Resonators will not be counted.
- Progress of Resonators deployed by each Faction will be updated once per day on the News Feed.
- This event will not have a Medal nor a new personal Agent Stat added to the Scanner.
The following bonuses will be enabled during the event:
- Double deploy of Level 8 Resonators
- 2X hack rate of Resonators
- 3X AP for deploying the 8th Resonator on a Portal
Boost your gameplay by picking up the Mini Builder Bundle and the 30 Resonator Pack, available for the duration of the event.
- Mini Builder Bundle (2500 CMU): 10x L1 Resonators, 10x L2 Resonators, 8x L3 Resonators, 8x L4 Resonators, 5x L5 Resonators, and 5x L6 Resonators (46 total)
- 30 Resonator Pack (2500 CMU): 30x L8 Resonators
As always, please remember to be aware of your surroundings. We encourage players to follow local health and safety guidelines when playing Ingress (such as wearing masks and maintaining at least six feet/two meters of distance from other people).

Will both factions be able to use the program, or will only the winning faction be able to craft a flipcard?

This is great. This kind of event really does work. Those people who can play safely in the pandemic can do so. Those who can't, don't lose out on a one-of-a-kind badge.

Because there's still the Coronavirus around. Having no medal incentive means that in areas where Covid is still strong and lockdowns are in effect, agents don't have to be pressured to go out to "earn a badge".

As many as you can walk, with the usual limitation of 5 capsules (or 40kms) per day.

No. That would be bad. I don't want to see an another paid medal when they haven't released a play to get one in ages.
If a new medal is coming, give a way to earn it, in addition to it being available in the store.
Those who can't go out can buy and those who can play can play for it.
I really don't like these 2500cmu paid medals. It costs more than a movie ticket here. A lot of paid medal is not fun.
